Activities around the Hotel Nigritella

The area around the hotel offers many outdoor activities to do, for athletes and for those who love history and sport.

GUIDED TOURS
The Pro Loco Val Fiorentina and groups of local volunteers organize weekly excursions and guided tours of the most scenic and historically interesting of our Valley and surrounding areas.

WALKS
Numerous and fit your needs are walks you can go to the discovery of our territories. It is easy routes, which, however, allow you to enjoy the beautiful views and the peace of our forests.

FOR THOSE WHO LOVE THE STORY:

1. TRAILS OF WAR
   On our mountains, between 1915 and 1918, was fought one of the most incredible wars of history: the First World War, now known as the Great War.
   The three main areas to visit are all within a few miles from our Valley:
   Lagazuoi / Cinque Torri (Falzarego)
   Marmolada
   Col di Lana


2. THE DINOSAURS
   Also famous are the dinosaur footprints discovered on Mount Pelmetto, the oldest found in Italy and a few weeks you can see a giant dinosaur place on the mountain. The boulder is within walking distance, with a hike of about 1:45 h, starting from Staulanza and following the direction for the Refuge Venice, on the path Cai 472. At some point you have to leave the main trail to take a detour to the left, well signposted, which leads right at the foot of the rock with footprints. This last part is a bit challenging for the difference.
